Project Overview

Nyera Amari  I & II Hydropower Project is a integrated run-of-river scheme located in the eastern district of Trashigang and Samdrup jongkhar, Bhutan. With an installed capacity of 404 MW, the project is designed to harness the flows of the Nyera Amari River system, contributing clean energy to Bhutan's eastern grid while maintaining the ecological integrity of the surrounding landscape.

NexGen Hydro Consult is provding service to update the feasibility study for the integrated project as a national partner to International consulting firm SMEC, Australia.
