Project Overview

Khomachhu Hydropower Project is a medium-scale run-of-river scheme located in the Lhuntse. With a capacity of 220 MW, the project has been planned to harness the flows of the Khomachhu River, providing clean energy contributing to Bhutan's national grid stability.

NexGen Hydro Consult is providing services of peparing the ESIA and ESMP as part of the feasibility study including e-flow assessment.
